Chinese Braised Chicken

1 cup of Onion, chopped
3 pounds of Skinless Boneless Chicken
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of Soy sauce; low sodium
2 tablespoons of Fresh ginger root; chopped
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 Clove garlic; chopped

Place 1/2 cup chopped onion in bottom of Crockpot liner. Add chicken. Be sure to remove ALL visible fat! Combine water, soy sauce, chopped ginger, sugar and garlic. Pour over all. Add the other 1/2 cup chopped onion. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serving Size: 6
