
| Broiled Steak w/Mushroom Wine Sauce 2 tablespoons of margarine 1/4 pound of mushrooms, thinly sliced 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 teaspoons of flour 1/4 teaspoon of salt a generous dash of pepper 2 tablespoons of tomato paste 1/2 cup of dry red wine 1/4 cup of water 2 pounds of boneless sirloin steak |

Melt the margarine in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the mushrooms, onion and garlic, sauté until the onion is transparent, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in flour, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Blend in wine and water, bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, broil steak to desired doneness. Serve steak with sauce. Serves 6
